Burj khalifa

Today I am going to share with you very interesting and informative information about Burj khalifa. Guys Burj Khalifa is a sky scraper in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It also called as "Khalifa Tower" in English. It was inaugurated in 2010. 
You will be surprise to know that it is the tallest building in the world and its height is 829.8 m (2722ft). Construction of Burj Khalifa was begin in 2004 which was completed in 2009.

Purpose of construction of Burj Khalifa was to gain international recognition for Dubai. Original name was "Burj Dubai" which was changed in the the honor of Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates and the ruler of Abu Dhabi.

Design of Burj Khalifa was made by Adrian Smith of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. You will surprise to know that their firm also designed the Willis Tower and World Trade Center.

Burj Khalifa has set several world records, which are as follows:

👉    Burj Khalifa is the tallest existing structure, which height is 829.8 m 

          (2,722 ft).

👉    It is the tallest Structure ever build, which is 829.8 m (2,722 ft).

👉    It is the tallest freestanding structure, which is 829.8 m (2,722 ft).

👉    It is the tallest skyscraper, which is 829 m (2,717 ft). 

👉    It is the tallest skyscraper to top of antenna, which is 829.8 m (2,722 ft).

👉    It is the building with most floors, which are 163 in number, previously was         the World Trade Center which have 110 floors.

👉    It contains World's highest elevator installation in it.

👉    It contains World's longest travel distance elevators, which are 504 m                     (1,654 ft)

👉    It contains Highest vertical concrete pumping (for a building): 606 m                     (1,988 ft)

👉    It is the World's tallest structure which includes residential space

👉    It has the World's highest installation of an aluminum and glass façade: 512 m     (1,680 ft)

👉   It has the World's highest nightclub, which is in the 144th floor

👉   It has the World's highest restaurant , which is in 122nd floor at a height of             442 m (1,450 ft)

👉    It has the World's highest New Year display of fireworks.

👉    It has the World's largest light and sound show staged on a single building.
